PLAZAS POSTDOCTORALES ofrecidas por el Oxford Centre for Emotions and Affective Neuroscience (OCEAN)

04.11.2013
Plazo: 8 o 22 de Noviembre (dependiendo de donde van aplicar).
The Oxford Centre for Emotions and Affective Neuroscience (OCEAN) aims to understand why some people are resilient and able to withstand whatever life throws at them, while others are emotionally vulnerable and at risk of developing anxiety disorders and depression. We use a variety of multidisciplinary approaches utilizing methods from cognitive psychology, neuroscience and molecular genetics to understand human emotions and affective reactivity across the lifespan.

We currently have vacancies for Research Associate Posts funded by the ERC. This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic post-doctoral researchers to join the new OCEAN lab in Oxford. Ideally, you will have experience in cognitive psychology and/or cognitive neuroscience. An interest in cognitive factors underlying emotional vulnerability and resilience would be an advantage. The research involves different approaches and will include the investigation of how genes and cognitive biases may interact to determine levels of wellbeing. Some knowledge and experience of molecular genetics would also be desirable.
